Changes at Financial-Shopper-Network.Com Forum

Our Affiliate Relationship with InsureMe.com is Over!

It is with great sadness that we must announce that our affiliate marketing relationship with InsureMe.com is officially over.   Since 2005, InsureMe.com had been our number one company to send insurance referrals.  However, we do wish the company the best of luck, regardless of their decision.

In the meantime, we will continue to build our affiliate relationships with ABCleads.com and Hometownquotes.com.  It is our job to make sure that our website visitors have the opportunity to seek free insurance quotes from licensed insurance agents in their areas.

The Marketing Strategy of Financial-Shopper-Network.com in 2009!

In 2009, we plan to have our strongest year as a company, in terms of profits and article quality.  And while achieving higher search engine rankings is important, we prefer to concentrate on the quality of the information we provide.  Therefore, as the website continues to grow in size, the need for research of insurance and investment related topics becomes more important.

In addition, unlike past years, this website has a marketing strategy to achieve goals.  By advertising and writing articles for a very specific audience, the website will eventually see a significant increase of daily web traffic in 2009.  We will monitor the SERPS for certain search engines such as Google.  However, marketing our website will help to overcome changes in how the search engines rank websites.

Listed below are the marketing goals and changes that are scheduled to occur in 2009:

•  Advertise on MSN, Facebook or Google Ads in order to attract those needing travel insurance
•  Achieve an Alexa.com ranking of > 300,000 
•  Write at least 350 new articles
• Have at three articles appear in local or national newspapers
•  Place at least 10 guest author’s articles on the website
•  Have 200 or more subscribers to the RSS feed
• Strengthen the quality of credit related articles 
• Discuss the possibility of doing stock analysis

While the goals listed above appear to be simple, a lot of hard work will need to occur in 2009. However, the goals are attainable.
