Why Insurance Agents Should Dress for their Clientele!
By Jason Cunningham (11-11-06)
Everyone has heard the saying "dress for success." In the
insurance industry, each insurance agent should dress appropriately for every
business meeting. Therefore, it is your clientele that will dictate your
wardrobe.
Have you wondered what to wear? Well, it is necessary to
know who you are meeting. If you are seeing a business professional at the
insurance office, you might want to pull out a shirt, tie, and suit. On the
other hand, some blue collar workers may see you as stuffy in a suit; therefore
a shirt and tie might be enough. Regardless of the clientele, a neat appearance
can go a long way with potential clients.
Your dress may have the same impact as your speech. Your
wardrobe should reflect current professional dressing standards. Remember,
people do not usually do business with slobs or unprofessional looking
individuals.
