Why Insurance Agents Stop Doing What Works!
By: Jason Cunningham (3-16-06)
It can be said that repetition
leads to greatnesses. Generally, successful people follow a game plan, and it
should be different for your insurance business. It is cliché' to say "if it
ain't broke then don't try to fix it," but it's true.
Ask yourself did Michael
Jordan try to play basketball like Larry Bird or vice versa. Absolutely not,
each of these individuals developed their own style of play and became experts.
If you have already developed a level of comfort with a product or have an
established market and it brings you a tremendous income with growth, then why
stymie this success by doing something else? This does not mean you should not
try new things, such as financial planning or disability insurance; however you
need not sacrifice your bread and butter.
Often individuals get the big
head because they experience some success. You heard it before, "there is
nothing I can't do." Unfortunately some of us start to believe this, and yes it
can hurt you in your wallet. Therefore stay on track and keep focused on what
got you in a good position. It is ultimately up to you to determine your level
of your success. Be diligent and resourceful, so that you reach your goals. Good
selling!!!
