Why the Colts Should Feel Fortunate!

By: Jason Cunningham (1/10/2005)

The Indianapolis Colts will host the Pittsburgh Steelers in their AFC Divisional Playoff match up. At least, the Colts will not have to see the New England Patriots, so soon. Believe me, I am sure the Indianapolis Colts are not looking past the Steelers, but it is better to face them this weekend; instead of the Patriots.

Last week the Colts did not play football. Sure they practiced, however that this is not the same thing. If there such a thing as a playoff tune-up, then the Colts will get one against the Pittsburgh Steelers. They are going to torch them. This is what they need before the AFC Championship. Our senior correspondent, (still an unpaid position) Markeith Reed is a die hard Steelers fan. He will be using his "Terrible Towel"  to wipe his tears on Sunday. Let's face it, someone has to lose and it might as well be the Steelers. They already have enough Superbowl wins.

I have a confession to make. The Steelers just got by last week versus the Cincinnati Bengals. You almost let a back up quarterback, John Kina beat you. Maybe, I should not be so hard on the team that was my preseason Superbowl choice for the AFC.  Then again this my prerogative.

Steelers fans need to get ready for the offseason. Sorry, I just do not see you defeating the Colts this weekend or any other one in the near future.  Go Colts!!!
