Will T.O. Find Peace as a Dallas Cowboy?
By: Jason Cunningham (7/16/2006)
Terrell Owens will enter his
11th year as a NFL wide receiver. The Dallas Cowboys will be the third different
team that Owens has suited up for. In each of Owens two other NFL stops, Terrell
has acted up and been traded, as a result of his actions.
We have all heard the saying
"the third time is the charm." In the case of Owens, let us see if the third
team of his NFL career will be the last. Owens was already an established
superstar before the San Francisco 49ers traded him to the Philadelphia Eagles.
It was just the first episode of Terrell Owens wearing out his welcome in a
city. Last season in Philadelphia, Owens was suspended by the team for the
remainder of the season.
It is time for Terrell Owens to
find peace. He is not getting any younger. Besides, as a 49er, he once stood on
the Dallas Cowboy's star to mock to other team and fans. If Cowboy fans can
forgive him for his past actions, he should learn to be loyal this organization.
This is his last opportunity to get a big contract.
